Central Pioneer Valley Public Health District, Chicopee, Holyoke and South Hadley Health Departments announced its commercial partnership with CredibleMind.
CredibleMind is an intuitive platform offering localized, wellness-oriented digital content that enables employees, insurers, healthcare providers and community organizations to support consumer-centric engagement and provide personalized mental health resources.
The partnership will make CredibleMind an accessible digital resource to CPV PHD’s more than 110,000 community members.
Founded in 2018 by Deryk Van Brunt and Marcos Athanasoulis, CredibleMind provides a complete population-based mental health ecosystem, including analytics reporting on service needs, use and outcomes.
“We are facing a mental health crisis in our country and the demand for mental health services is higher than ever,” said Van Brunt, “We are thrilled to partner with CPV PHD and provide on-demand, reliable self-care and mental health resources to help its community members improve their overall wellbeing and flourish.”
Focusing on early intervention and prevention around mental health issues, CredibleMind contains over 10,000 evidence-based and science-backed resources in an effort to provide users with credible self-care options to improve their overall wellbeing without medical intervention.
This platform is available to everyone who lives, works, or goes to school in Chicopee, Holyoke and South Hadley. CPV PHD is a shared service arrangement for the health departments in South Hadley, Chicopee and Holyoke, funded by a Public Health Excellence grant.
PHE grants encourage collaboration within local health departments, enabling them to broaden the scope of their work beyond code enforcement.
The health directors in Holyoke, Chicopee and South Hadley are pleased that they can offer access to this site.
South Hadley Public Health Director Sharon Hart talked about the new partnership and said, “We are thrilled to announce that we are now able to offer valuable resources to our communities: Chicopee, Holyoke and South Hadley. Our goal is to make mental health support more accessible and helpful for everyone. We hope that residents find the new site beneficial as they explore ways to enhance their well-being. There are so many dedicated individuals doing incredible work in this field, and we want to connect them with the resources they need.”
Using the CredibleMind platform, CPV PHD community members will receive 24/7 access to more than 10,000 science-backed mental health resources, personalized to their needs.
Chicopee Health Director Lisa Sanders talked about how the new collaboration will benefit community members.
She stated, “I am very excited that Chicopee is partnering with CredibleMind because mental wellbeing is an integral part of one’s overall health. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals to access over 100 topics, to tap into resources, and even take mental health assessments, all for free.”
