SOUTH HADLEY — Residents, involved parties and elected officials all watched and listened during a dangerous dog hearing on Aug. 5 where it was unanimously decided that Boone, the dog, was deemed too dangerous to other pets and ruled it should be humanely euthanized.
Highview of Northampton has seen a high number of fines and flagged deficiencies over the last three years. One of the most fined facilities in Massachusetts by the federal government during the same time, it has also not met state standards for registered nurse hours and is above the national average of health citations.
SOUTH HADLEY — With the cost of living and seemingly the cost of everything else rising, the School Committee approved a request to increase athletic user fees within the high school athletic program during its July 18 meeting.
