CHICOPEE — On June 12, Chicopee hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony to welcome Golden Nozzle Car Wash to the community, 467 Memorial Dr.

Richard Smith from F.L. Roberts, Ward 1 City Councilor Abigail Arriaga, and City Council Vice President Robert Zygarowski joined Mayor John Vieau for the ribbon cutting ceremony.

The former Denny’s location has a new business and Vieau said he was happy to welcome yet another new business into the “vibrant community” and that it’s exciting to see so many new business owners choosing Chicopee.

He added, “We have another investor or expansion of investors with Golden Nozzle. If you’d like a car wash, come on down and check out the new technology. There’s nothing better than cutting a ribbon for a new stakeholder in Chicopee.”

The car wash is offering free car washes for a week until Friday, June 21 but has free vacuum services all the time.

Readers can also check out goldennozzlecarwash.com for prices, membership and hours of operation.
There is currently a Golden Nozzle Car Wash at 520 Montgomery St., but Smith added he is excited to open another location in Chicopee.
