CHICOPEE — Nonna’s Village hosted a grand opening event on March 6 to introduce its multi-recreation business to the community at 84-86 Main St.
The space includes an art room, photography room, boxing room, a room to get your eyelashes done, a rage room/destruction room, a game room with arcade games, a paint room, music room and gymnastics room.
Nonna’s Village Owner Angela Breault-Klusman explained that the business originated as Dance Dynamics, but after her mom passed away in March 2025, she had to shut down the studio for a little while to deal with the emotions of it all.
The grand opening came one day before the one year anniversary of her mom’s passing. “My mom was always into loving kids and everything, and she liked being there and coming to visit at Dance Dynamics when we were Dance Dynamics, and unfortunately, when she did pass, I had to shut down for a little bit. But in spirit and everything with her came Nonna’s Village, and this is for her.”
The grand opening included a ribbon cutting with Mayor John Vieau and a citation of congratulations from the Massachusetts Senate.
Breault-Klusman talked about having the community’s support, stating, “Having the community support is everything to me. I am a big person for involvement with the community. Our dance studio and actually anything that’s here pricewise is so that it’s all community affordable.”
Breault-Klusman’s mom was an entrepreneur who helped open and run multiple businesses. Breault-Klusman said she followed in her mother’s footsteps when she became an entrepreneur.
“Being a small business owner is honestly breathtaking, Breault-Klusman said. “I have a big family, I’ve adopted kids, I’ve also took guardian of children, so being able to have my own business and being able to be there for them and work through different things, because … I have some children with some disabilities, is a big part of being able to go ahead and be a business owner and have that sigh of relief like, I need to take a step back, I need to work on something with the children, I can have somebody else step in a just run it, and I can still be here because obviously we have a big space in different rooms to help.”
Breault-Klusman talked about what she is looking forward to the most when it comes to Nonna’s Village. “I’m looking forward to the stress relief room to go off and be a big hit. We also have the paint splat where there’s not many of either rooms around here,” Breault-Klusman explained. “I’m very excited for our new rooms. Our game room; we have more arcade games coming. We also have a golf simulator coming within the next week.”
Nonna’s Village is currently open seven days a week from 7:30 a.m. to around 9 or 10 p.m. but Breault-Klusman stated, “We can be here earlier or later.”
She said she would rather people call in to make reservations, but walk-ins are also welcome. Readers can call or text 413-313-2307 for reservations.
“Angela has brought some new life here. What she’s created is something really special; a place for kids that come, gather, adults can come and really find their niche of fun things and a dance studio all tied together,” Vieau said.
Prices for each service can be found at nonnasvillage413.com. Those interested can also book field trips, family events, work parties, group therapy, birthday parties and more.
