WE ARE HOMETOWN NEWS.

CHESTER — On Sunday, April 13 at 1 p.m., the Littleville Fair, the Chester Hill Association, and the Chester Recreation Committee will host an Easter Egg Hunt at the Littleville Fairgrounds, 15 Kinnebrook Rd. in Chester.

The hunt will begin at 1 p.m. The egg hunt has four age categories: 1-2 years, 3-5 years, 6-8 years and 9 years and over.

On April 27, 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. is the Annual Pancake Breakfast and the Chester Hill Association Springfest. There will be craft vendors and raffles helping to support the fair. Be sure to check out the Littleville Fair website for additional events at littlevillefair.com.

Littleville Fair volunteers have been meeting monthly since the 2024 fair ended, arranging music venues and acts to keep the kids and adults happy for the 2025 Fair scheduled for Aug. 1, 2 and 3.

The Littleville Fair, as well as other fairs in the area, rely on public donations and donations from local towns. Every year the Littleville Fair utilizes funding from the Massachusetts Cultural Council for fair entertainment, like music, magic shows, face painting, reptile displays and petting zoos.

“Our 2024 program was funded in part by grants from the Montgomery, Russell, Middlefield, Chester, and Worthington Cultural Councils, local agencies, which are supported by the Mass Cultural Council, a state agency,” said the fair.

Without the support of Blandford, Chester, Chesterfield, Middlefield, Montgomery, Huntington, Russell and Worthington, fairs would have a difficult time in providing this type of entertainment. Littleville Fair would like to thank these towns for providing their MCC funding to help make the fairs a wonderful summer time activity for all to enjoy and in creating lasting memories.
