HUNTINGTON — Gray Catbird Pottery & Art Studio has announced the schedule of fall art workshops by local artisans in different media at its studio on 22 East Main St. in Huntington.

Late Summer Floral Design with Mary Cantler and Lydia King will take place Sept. 13 from 2:30-4:30 p.m. for $60. Learn basic principles of flower arranging and create your own big beautiful bouquet with fresh flowers provided from Mary & Lydia’s gardens and business, “Gardens at Old House Road.”

Shadow Boxes with Sherri Church is on Oct.7, or Oct. 21, 6-8:30 p.m., $55 per class. Use sea glass, shells, beach stones, driftwood, tiny starfish, one piece of wampum and sand to create your own lovely seaside picture within an 8-inch by 8-inch shadow box.

Fused Glass Art by Denise Beaulieu is on Saturdays from 2:30-4:30 p.m. Cost is $65 per class. Oct. 18 will feature wind chimes. Assemble vibrant layers of glass to make a one-of-a-kind creation. No experience is needed, and all materials will be provided. Future workshops on Nov. 8 and Dec. 6 will feature seasonal projects. Reserve your spot early.

Fall pottery classes at Gray Catbird will be on Tuesday evenings from 6-8:30 p.m. with Dale Rogers, Wednesdays with Linda Siska, 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.; Wednesday evenings, 4 to 6:30 p.m.; Friday mornings, 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Friday evenings, 5-7:30 p.m. with Dale Rogers, and Saturday mornings, 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. with Linda Siska. The classes meet once a week for six weeks with all materials provided and step-by-step instruction for $275. Fall classes are currently full, but names are taken on a waiting list.
