SOUTHWICK — Based on the “butterfly effect,” administrators at Southwick Regional School are rolling out SRS Helping Hands Kindness in Motion to give students a way to make a difference for their communities and their fellow students.
SOUTHWICK — After clearing up questions about the address on College Highway for Responsible and Compliant Southwick LLC, doing business as Haven, and parking at the former Family Dollar store, the Planning Board closed its public hearing on the dispensary’s special permit application with a tentative approval.
SOUTHWICK — The Assistant Director of the DPW Jon Goddard briefed the Select Board on Sept. 8 on the state’s Complete Streets program to determine if they want to participate.
SOUTHWICK — To ensure that the memory of those nearly 3,000 souls who were lost at the hands of hate-filled terrorists on Sept. 11, 2001, each year since the nation gathers at firehouses across this country to mark the anniversary and remember the sacrifices of those first responders who rushed into New York’s Twin Towers, the Pentagon, and the bravery of the passengers on Flight 93 who stopped another attack.
SOUTHWICK — When the Master Plan Implementation Committee met for the first time last December, its chair Norman Cheever summed up what was in store for the committee: “We need to decide how we’re going to conquer this massive thing.”
SOUTHWICK — For Senior Center Director Lisa Anderson, the addition of a second bus for senior citizens that need rides to doctor’s appointments or to buy groceries was a real need.
