FISH with CARE event provides learning opportunity for all

ENFIELD — Fishing season is in full swing and on June 8, CT DEEP Fisheries Division, Enfield Community Police and Enfield Recreation will offer FISH with CARE, a free learning opportunity at Freshwater Pond in Enfield.The event, set to take place from 9:30 a.m. to noon, features volunteer state certified fishing coaches who will teach participants how to get started fishing safely, legally and successfully.

Enfield High School seniors share work at reception

ENFIELD — On May 9, the Friends of the Enfield Library, in conjuction with the Enfield Culture and Arts Commission and the Pearl Street Library, hosted an artists’ reception, where Daniel Cardona and Mayslee Gray-Khen, two Enfield High School seniors, had a dual exhibition of their artwork at Pearl Street Library.

ENFIELD — For its dedication to providing music education to all its students, Enfield Public Schools has received the Best Communities for Music Education designation from The NAMM Foundation. The designation offers national and community recognition, increased visibility for music education and a program auditing tool for evaluating the music program.
