HUNTINGTON — Jim Helems, who has served as animal control officer in Huntington for the past four years, is looking for residents to speak out about the new bylaw that passed at the town meeting on June 23, regarding dogs. Helems said he does not recommend the bylaw and may be forced to step down because of it.
SOUTHWICK — During a joint meeting of the Select and Planning boards on June 23, members of both boards unanimously chose Giovanni Allsop to serve as associate member of the Planning Board instead of former Select Board member Jason Perron who applied for the position.
