WESTFIELD — The Mass Cultural Council has designated Westfield as one of three new cultural districts, along with Holyoke and Watertown, capping a recent two-and-a-half-year effort by city officials, area arts organizations, individual artists and the Westfield Merchants Association. For some, the effort goes back more than a decade.

NORTHAMPTON — In what has become a seasonal favorite, the annual Northampton Artisan Fair returns for its fourth year on Saturday, Nov. 30 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
ENFIELD — The Enfield Senior Center’s Holiday Craft Fair will take place on Saturday, Dec. 7 from 8 a.m. to noon. There will be unique gift items handmade by the Senior Center members, a quilt raffle, teacup raffles, a pancake breakfast by the Enfield Lions Club and more. All the money raised from the craft fair goes directly toward the center.
EAST LONGMEADOW — The Town Council voted Nov. 12 to change the funding sources for the acquisition of 382 N. Main St., the future home of East Longmeadow’s Town Hall.
