SOUTHWICK — A month after Select Board member Russ Anderson proposed overhauling the town’s public access channel, including pausing and restructuring Channel 15, its director updated the board about what he does to keep town residents informed.
SOUTHWICK — With LakeView Tavern voluntarily closing in early November, the status of its liquor license was discussed during the Select Board’s meeting on Dec. 29 with the restaurant’s owner.
SOUTHWICK — The Select Board voted unanimously to approve the warrant for the Special Town Meeting that included an additional article related to health insurance for the town’s retirees.
SOUTHWICK — With an eye toward connecting the Rail Trail to College Highway, the Economic Development Commission unanimously approved sending a letter to the Select Board asking it to establish an ad hoc committee that would determine if the state’s Complete Streets Program is a right fit for the town.
The project to enhance the grounds of the public library has been paused after learning the Community Preservation Committee mistakenly approved its initial funding application to purchase fixtures in 2024, and once again in October to finish the project.
