SPRINGFIELD — Springfield Mayor Domenic Sarno joined members of his staff, City Councilor Lavar Click-Bruce and representatives of neighborhood councils citywide at Greenleaf Park to announce nearly $3 million in funding that will be directed specifically toward neighborhood projects and initiatives.

MONSON — The Monson Select Board discussed whether the town should continue to waive the rental fee for Memorial Hall at its June 25 meeting following concern from residents and the Memorial Hall Committee over the board’s decision to waive the fee previously.
CHICOPEE — During the School Committee meeting on June 26, the group met the incoming Chicopee Education Association president, as well as discussed a superintendent evaluation proposal for the previous school year.
