WESTFIELD — The Wyben Parade Committee is planning its first Lighted Tractor Christmas Parade on Nov. 23 at 5 p.m., the Saturday before Thanksgiving, with a Sunday, Nov. 24 rain/weather date.
CHESTER — Vanna Maffuccio, principal of Chester Elementary School, welcomed Mary Stucklen, owner of Tommy’s Compost Service in the Berkshires, to spend the day Oct. 28 with staff and students to assist them in expanding the school’s composting efforts beyond the lunchroom. The visit was funded by the BARR grant.
Normally I don’t find myself becoming invested in many of the ballot measures that are proposed to Massachusetts voters come election season. This year however, several of the questions caught my eye.
Alongside local, state and national races, Massachusetts residents will be presented with five ballot measures to decide on during the Nov. 5 general election.
