Agawam Senior Center hosts 2nd annual car show

AGAWAM — Nearly 100 classic vehicle owners popped their hoods and showed off their hot rods at the Agawam Senior Center’s second annual car show.

The event featured live music from Decades, who describe themselves as an “oldies dance band.”

Hungry guests could take advantage of the food trucks on site: The North Elm Butcher’s Block, Cousin’s Maine Lobster and Moolicious. Council on Aging Director Cindy Sullivan said the event was a success and much larger than the center’s first car show, which was held in October 2025. She thanked Colonial Forastiere Funeral Home & Cremation for allowing visitors to park in their lot down the street. The Senior Center’s van shuttled people back and forth.
