LONGMEADOW — Two educational pillars in Longmeadow, Bay Path University and Willie Ross School for the Deaf, have begun a partnership designed to directly benefits today’s deaf and hard-of-hearing youth and those of future generations by investing in educators.

LONGMEADOW — The Longmeadow Select Board voted to sign an intergovernmental agreement with the South Hadley Electric Light Department, which operates the Fiberspring fiber optic internet service provider.

LHS orchestra students chosen to play at regional conference
LONGMEADOW — Music is a labor of love for the musicians of the Longmeadow High School symphony orchestra. On April 26, 2025, that labor will pay off as the orchestra is one of only six in schools across 11 states that has been invited to play at the National Association for Music Education’s 58th Eastern Division In-Service Conference.

First Church hosts annual Christmas tree lighting celebration
The First Church of Christ in Longmeadow hosted its the annual Christmas tree lighting on the Town Green on Dec. 3. Along with the tree lighting, residents participated in Christmas caroling and enjoyed a visit from Santa Claus. The tree lighting ceremony took place directly across from the First Church of Christ.
