CHICOPEE — With less than two months until St. Patrick’s Day, the Chicopee St. Patrick’s Day Parade Committee is gearing up for the season and its 2024 Chicopee Colleen Contest.
Applications are currently available and will be accepted until Feb. 1.
Participation in the colleen contest allows young women in Chicopee to apply for scholarships, build interviewing skills, work on resumes, make connections with peers and community leaders, and practice public speaking.
The Chicopee Colleen Contest and Coronation Ball are the Chicopee St. Patrick’s Day Parade Committee’s most anticipated events of the year.
“Each year, Chicopee’s finest young ladies compete for an opportunity to represent their city as the colleen or a member of her court for the upcoming year,” said the Chicopee St. Patrick’s Day Parade Committee.
