CHICOPEE — The Big E honored Chicopee with its annual “Salute to Chicopee Day” celebration on Sept. 29.
Salute to Chicopee Day is one of several days the fair dedicates to celebrating the New England states and local cities, ending with a 6 p.m. parade with elected officials, local marching bands, cheer teams and local organizations marching down the Avenue of States.
