The target date to begin construction of the East Longmeadow Veterans Memorial at 328 N. Main St. is scheduled to begin sometime between April and June of 2025.

I served on Longmeadow’s Select Board for nine years and I am asking my fellow citizens to vote for Andrew Lam for Select Board on June 11.
Not seeking reelection
It has been a privilege to serve on the Longmeadow School Committee for the past three years. I had hoped to continue to serve in this capacity for another term, but I was recently diagnosed with breast cancer–expected treatment outcomes are very good.
I’m Voting Peterson
Last year, I led the effort to secure funds to upgrade the Longmeadow elementary school playgrounds to become compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act, which was voted on during Town Meeting in May.

It’s more than just a celebration — it’s a beacon of hope, solidarity and progress for LGBTQIA+ youth in the Greater Springfield area.
