LONGMEADOW — When voters at Town Meeting approved the feasibility study for a solution to Longmeadow’s aging middle schools in October 2022, it kicked off a long process that explored whether there should be one or two schools, where they should be located and how extensive the project should be.
HUNTINGTON — A third public hearing on Aug. 13 in Stanton Hall for a special permit for a proposed 4.9-acre gravel pit at 61 Goss Hill Rd., and properties off Goss Hill Road and Worthington Road, on land owned by William B. Hull Forestlands, ended with a continuance and a tentative scheduled date for another hearing on Nov. 12.

NORTHAMPTON — In a unanimous vote, the Northampton City Council approved the appropriation of $354,250 from the General Stabilization Fund for the replacement of boilers at Leeds Elementary School during its Aug. 15 meeting.
