LONGMEADOW — In the fall of 2020, amidst the coronavirus pandemic and political upheaval, the Longmeadow Pride Alliance took to the Town Green to host its first celebration of LGBTQ+ people and their belonging in the wider community.

SOUTHWICK — After the Select Board learned last week there is money left over from a Community Block Development Grant that was used to upgrade Bungalow Street, the agency that administers the grant asked the board what it wanted to do with it.
WESTFIELD — Westfield High School Principal Charles Jendrysik announced on Friday, Aug. 1, that Lauren Figy Cadigan has been hired as a new assistant principal in the high school. She will be filling a position that was interim last year.
WESTFIELD — Volunteers are gearing up for the 97th Westfield Fair Aug. 15 to 17 at the fairgrounds on 137 Russellville Rd. Admission is $15 — cash only at the gate — and $13 for seniors and veterans. Admission is free for children under 12 with an adult.
