WESTFIELD — This summer, Elm Electrical is once again offering free four-day training sessions for students interested in the electrical field and for prospective co-op students at one of three “Elm Futures” training seminars. The seminars are hosted in “Elm University,” the company’s inhouse training program.
WESTFIELD — The call is out for artists and authors to participate in this fall’s ARToberFEST in downtown Westfield all day on Saturday, Sept. 27, with a rain date of Saturday, Oct. 4. Space, which is limited to 75, is filling up fast.
WESTFIELD — The River Valley Aktion Club gathered at Whip City Animal Sanctuary on July 15 to present a check to the farm animal rescue for nearly $1,200 that the club raised from a bottle & can drive on June 14 at Westfield Feed.
WESTFIELD — BHN Kamp for Kids, a summer day camp for children and young adults of all abilities, hosted a Kamp Welcome Day on July 11 at Camp Togowauk, 754 Russell Rd. in Westfield. This year’s event hosted special significance as the program celebrates its 50th anniversary season.
