Huntington man charged with attempted murder in Westfield
WESTFIELD — A Huntington man accused of walking into a barbershop on the morning of Nov. 21 and stabbing a man multiple times was arrested for attempted murder a few hours later at his home.
Site plan approved for new Westfield warehouse on Cycle Street
WESTFIELD — On Nov. 18, the Planning Board unanimously approved a site plan for a warehouse on Cycle Street to be occupied by Aero Fastener, an aerospace manufacturing company currently located on Servistar Industrial Way.

New graduation requirements presented to Westfield School Committee
WESTFIELD — At the Nov. 17 School Committee meeting, Susan Dargie, director of curriculum and instruction, and Christine Shea, director of assessment and accountability, reviewed the proposed changes to the graduation requirements for Westfield High School and Westfield Technical Academy due to the elimination of MCAS assessments as one of the requirements for graduation.
Westfield City Council approves jet fuel storage, pump for Jimbob Aviation
WESTFIELD — After public hearings in front of the Planning Board and City Council and a review by the License Committee, the council voted 7-4 on Nov. 6 to permit the application by Jimbob Aviation for a gas storage license for 20,000 gallons of Jet A fuel outside of their hangar at Westfield Barnes Airport.
Wyben Lighted Tractor Parade set for Nov. 22 return
WESTFIELD — The Wyben Association committee is planning its second annual Lighted Tractor Parade on Nov. 22 at 5 p.m., with a weather date of Nov. 23.
