PALMER — The town of Palmer is now considering various options for a permanent ambulance service for the community since the abrupt departure of Palmer Ambulance Service at the end of October.
MONSON — At its meeting on Nov. 13, the School Committee voted to move forward in an effort to hire an interim school superintendent in light of the retirement of former Superintendent Cheryl Clarke on Oct. 24.
LUDLOW — In the middle of a ceremony celebrating the successful renovation of Building 8 of the Ludlow Mills into 95 units of senior housing, something happened that for many attending is a signal for the property’s renewal. The clock tower, a symbol of Ludlow, not only tells time once more but chimed loudly at noon.
HAMPDEN — A capacity audience at the Hampden Town Meeting on Oct. 13 rejected for a third time an effort to put on the next ballot a question approving a Proposition 2 1/2 override to borrow money to pay for renovations and expansion of the town’s Senior Center.
