WILBRAHAM — The Hampden-Wilbraham Regional School District began its school improvement plan presentations at its July 1 meeting with the first two school principals discussing recent achievements and specific goals for the coming 2024-25 school year.
EAST LONGMEADOW — East Longmeadow hosted its annual Fourth of July Carnival from June 28 to July 4 at Leahy Field. The carnival included food stands, rides, live music and various activities, such as axe-throwing and mock bull-riding.
MONSON — The fireworks portion of Monson Summerfest has been pushed to July 13, following poor weather on the original date of June 22.
WILBRAHAM — During its June 24 meeting, the Wilbraham Select Board discussed the town’s options for future use of the Memorial School property, voting to move forward with installing pickleball courts and temporarily suspending work to designate the school as a historically significant property.
EAST LONGMEADOW — Television show “The Food Explorer,” hosted by Center Square Grill Owner Bill Collins, was recently awarded three Telly Awards for social media content produced ahead of the show’s premiere later this year.
