AGAWAM — The West of the River Chamber of Commerce announced that Food Fest West will take place on Nov. 13 from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at the Crestview Country Club, 281 Shoemaker Lane.
The event showcases the region’s finest eateries, offering guests the opportunity to sample a wide variety of delicious dishes and vote for their favorite restaurant of the night.
Samples range from savory bites to sweet treats as attendees will experience the very best of Western Massachusetts’ local cuisine all under one roof.
West of the River Chamber Executive Director Robin Wozniak talked more about the popular event, stating, “It’s an opportunity for all of our food establishments to showcase themselves to our community and it’s the chance for our community to explore the wonderful cuisine in our area. It’s a win win.”
Along with the food for sampling, the event will also feature a silent auction, photo booth, music and cash bar. A portion of the proceeds help the Partnership for Education in the area.
Wozniak talked about how the event is the perfect way to connect with friends, colleagues and community members while supporting local businesses and restaurants.
“Food Fest West is one of our most exciting community events of the year,” Wozniak said, “It’s a great opportunity to bring people together, celebrate our local dining scene, and have a great time doing it.”
With this being the 16th iteration of the event, Wozniak stated, “I love seeing everyone enjoying themselves and relaxing for a great night of fun. It provides a platform for our members and nonmembers to network and have fun doing so.”
Tickets are available now through the West of the River Chamber of Commerce. Wozniak said You don’t have to be a member of the chamber to be a food vendor or a guest at this annual event.
