WE ARE HOMETOWN NEWS.

NORTHAMPTON — The folks at Hope and Feathers Framing will celebrate their new space with a reopening party on June 7 from 5-8 p.m. featuring fine art prints, ice cream from the Batch truck, Hope and Feathers swag and tours of the space and equipment.

“Folks who stop by will get to see our new spacious backroom along with a dedicated area out front for people to work directly with Melissa, our printmaker,” said Michelle Raboin, the owner of Hope and Feathers Framing. “She will be on hand to chat with visitors about our scanning, printing and restoration services.”

Those attending will get to see the new space, including the spacious backroom and a dedicated area for customers to work with the store’s printmaker, as well as a new painting designed specifically for the store.

“We have commissioned Jesse Morgan to create a painting of our new building,” said Raboin. “Jesse is a local artist who has created a fantastic series of paintings inspired by favorite local spots. We are excited to join the list.”

Morgan creates surreal landscapes through the use of a saturated palette and dynamic light source, combined with distorted spatial issues and a whimsical feeling.

The new space has been a dream for a bit of time. Raboin wanted a space that would allow the store to expand its offerings and work more efficiently. The new location offers large windows and plenty of room to grow.

“We are so grateful for the warm welcome our new neighbors and community have extended to us in our first month in this new location. It is exciting to start a new chapter,” said Raboin. “We hope to continue to improve and expand our framing and printing services and to welcome new faces from all over the valley to our shop.”

The store is located at 238 Bridge St. in Northampton. Regular store hours are Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. More information about the store can be found at www.hopeandfeathersframing.com
