Holyoke’s elected officials, Fire Department and other guests gather at the Fire Department Headquarters at 600 High St. to remember those who lost their lives during the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks.

HOLYOKE — Each Holyoke fire station hosted a ceremony in observance of the 9/11 terrorist attacks. Mayor Joshua Garcia, state Rep. Patricia Duffy and other elected officials participated in the observance at the Fire Department Headquarters at 600 High St.
Apparatuses rolled out from their bays at approximately 9:55 a.m., and all available Fire Department personnel and guests gathered to participate in a moment of silence and observance ceremony.
“Never forget. Thank you to all those that attended our 9/11 ceremony this morning,” the Holyoke Fire Department posted in a statement.
