Ahead of the primary election on Sept. 1, Reminder Publishing compiled the voting hours and locations for Agawam and West Springfield.
The last day to register to vote or change party enrollment is Aug. 22 by 5 p.m. The vote-by-mail application deadline is 5 p.m. on Aug. 25.
Massachusetts residents can register to vote or check their registration status at sec.state.ma.us/ovr/.
Agawam
Agawam’s in-person early voting will take place at the senior center, 954 Mail St. Voting begins on Aug. 22 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and continues Monday, Aug. 24 through Friday, Aug. 28 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Election Day polls are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Precinct 1 is in the sixth Hampden District and precincts 2-8 are in the third Hampden District.
Precinct 1 will vote at the William P. Sapelli School, located at 65 Begley St. Precinct 2 votes at Clifford Granger School, 31 South Westfield St. Precinct 3 votes at Agawam High School, 760 Copper St. Precinct 4 votes at Roberta G. Doering School, 68 Main St. Precinct 5 votes at Benjamin Phelps School, 689 Main St. Precinct 7 votes at Agawam Jr. High School, 1305 Springfield St. Precinct 8 votes at James Clark School, 65 Oxford St.
Agawam residents can see their ballots and locate their precincts at agawam.ma.us/231/Election-Information.
West Springfield
West Springfield’s in-person early voting will be held at the library, 200 Park St., on Aug. 22 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Early voting continues Monday, Aug. 24 through Friday, Aug. 28 from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Advance removal of primary ballots runs until Monday, Aug. 31.
On Election Day, precincts 1-2 will be voting at the senior center, 128 Park St. Precincts 3-8 will vote at West Springfield High School, 425 Piper Road. Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Central tabulation begins on Sept. 1 in the elections office at 8 a.m., 26 Central St.
