LONGMEADOW — The Longmeadow Educational Excellence Foundation will be hosting “Dueling Pianos” on Feb. 28 at Twin Hills Country Club. The event features two pianists who take audience requests on songs for an interactive, high-energy show with cocktails, dancing and community spirit.
WESTFIELD — Southampton Road Elementary School held its second STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art and math) night for third and fourth graders and their siblings, in partnership with students and staff from the Jandon Center for Community Engagement at Smith College.
AGAWAM — Even though the current school year doesn’t end until June, plans are moving ahead for some changes in the district for the 2026-27 school year. School Superintendent Sheila Martin highlighted the changes in her “Superintendent’s Notes” portion of the School Committee’s Feb. 10 meeting.
HOLYOKE — Members of the Holyoke Paraprofessionals Association joined the School Committee meeting on Feb. 9 to express a desire for a new contract.
