WESTFIELD — After asbestos pipe jackets were discovered on the now-decommissioned Cowles Bridge, the state’s Department of Transportation announced the bridge’s replacement project would be briefly delayed earlier this month.

Creative Kids approaches 40th anniversary
WESTFIELD — Their business relationship has lasted longer than most marriages — partners Sherri Morini and Fran Frere are approaching four decades running the Creative Kids preschool together in Westfield.
