RUSSELL — Dec. 14’s Russell Parade of Lights had the biggest crowd she’d ever seen, said organizer Missy Castro of the town’s Parks and Recreation Commission.

HUNTINGTON — Some hunters checking their deer at the weigh station in the parking lot of 22 E. Main St. outside of B&D’s the first week of shotgun season were surprised to meet MassWildlife technician Kalina Flood of Worthington at the scale in place of stewardship biologist Jacob Morris-Siegel, who manned the station for the past 16 years.

Huntington gravel pit hearing continued to January 2025

Littleville School ends ‘One School One Book’ with celebration
HUNTINGTON — Littleville Elementary School participated in the “One School One Book” initiative this fall, with the whole school reading “A Boy Named Bat,” by Elana Arnold, a story about a boy who wants to keep an orphaned skunk that his mother, a veterinarian, brought home to care for.
