BELCHERTOWN — A new medical spa that opened in June is making its presence known in Belchertown by offering a range of advanced skincare and rejuvenation treatments to the town’s community and beyond.

Grace LaValley opened Grace Aesthetics and Wellness on 3 Stadler St. to provide personalized care and services to help clients achieve their aesthetic and wellness goals by using some of the latest technology in that field.

The spa offers a variety of treatments like anti-wrinkle therapy, fillers, microneedling with PRP, radiofrequency microneedling, laser hair removal, IPL laser, skin tightening and contouring, IV therapy and weight loss management.

“[I’m] really looking at that self-confidence and giving people a little bit of a boost and making them feel better about themselves,” LaValley said, regarding what she hopes to accomplish with the business. “Medical aesthetics is more than skin deep; it’s about enhancing self-confidence and boosting overall well-being. It’s great that I can bring such a service and latest technology to the community”

LaValley, who has a long history working in the field of cardiovascular health, heavily grew an interest in advanced aesthetics right around when COVID-19 hit. She eventually obtained her aesthetics training through Aesthetics Medical Educators Training and Aesthetic Mentor in Boston in both neurotoxin injections and fillers.

With that experience, LaValley developed the concept of Grace Aesthetics and Wellness by bringing the science and the artistry of aesthetics to the individual. Now, with the business having made headway for the last few months, LaValley is filling a missing void in the Belchertown area.

“Being located in Belchertown is great because the market out here in this area for the kind of services I offer, there’s really nothing out here. whereas the market for med spas are pretty saturated in Springfield and over the line in Connecticut area,” LaValley said.

Aside from being a major boost to mental health, the services offered by LaValley also benefit people in other ways.

For example, she said that the IV hydration can provide minerals and electrolytes to those who maybe need a boost in energy after experiencing fatigue, and the drips she uses for immunotherapy can hopefully help prevent future illnesses or allow people to get through illnesses faster.

She also added that her weight management injectables help people achieve weight loss goals.

“Our space is designed to create a relaxing and inviting atmosphere where clients can escape the daily stresses and focus on their well-being,” LaValley said. “We believe that everyone deserves to feel confident and beautiful, and we are excited to bring these transformative services to the Belchertown community.”

As a way to celebrate her business and other women-owned businesses in the area, LaValley is hosting an event called “Fall Back in Time” on Nov. 2 from 1- 4 p.m.

“I have six vendors who are coming that day to talk more about their services that they offer and sell some of their products and services,” LaValley said. “I’ll be doing, exclusive discounts, raffles, some door prizes and have light refreshments and drinks during that event.”
