Worthy Brewfest draws crowds to sample beer, cider at The Landing

SPRINGFIELD — Music, food, sun and beer — lots of it — brought hundreds of people out to The Landing on June 27 for the Worthy Brewfest.

Started in 2010 by Theodores’ BBQ and Smith’s Billiards, and named for its origins on Worthington Street, Worthy BrewFest has grown and now includes more than 60 sampling vendors.

This year, the Springfield Business Improvement District incorporated Worth Brewfest into its downtown Springfield calendar of events. The festival was presented by Beacon Bank and included a homebrewer’s competition, four food trucks, a DJ and brewery-adjacent vendors.
