LUDLOW — Sole Syndicate Brewing, formerly known as Iron Duke Brewing, will host its annual Harvest Fest on Sept. 28 from noon to 9 p.m.
While in previous years the event had been hosted off-site at places like the Ludlow Fish and Game Club and the Ludlow Elks Lodge 2448, this year’s Harvest Fest will take place at their taproom at Stockhouse 122 in the Ludlow Mills.
The day will include live performances from Livo Gravin and One was Johnny. Multiple food trucks including Wake the Dead Donuts, Pan’e Dolcetti and Dev’s Mac ‘N’ Eats, tons of activities like tie dying and beer stein competitions, along with a couple of vendors.
General manager Vicky Dinatale said, “This is our ninth year doing it and the purpose behind the Harvest Fest is to celebrate the season and bring the community together for some fun fall activities and celebrations. We usually do some fun/seasonal beer releases, so what better way than to have a celebration.”
She continued, “We hope to have a vibrant festival to bring in the community and enjoy local music, local food and of course great beer; celebrating the end of the summer and the beginning of fall.”
The small vintage brewhouse in the historic Ludlow Mills opened its doors as Iron Duke in 2014 with a mission to create quality craft beers that would bring people together. While the company has been in the process of transitioning its company and branding under the Sole Syndicate banner, their goals remain the same. The word sole represents their rich history and dedication to their craft. While the word syndicate signifies their collaboration and unity of their diverse family that built Sole Syndicate.
“We are very community-oriented,” said Dinatale. “We want to be a place where the community members can come together and share that passion of good food, beer, local musicians and fun events.”
She went on to say, “When people come to Sole Syndicate Brewing Company, we want them to have the best experience and the Harvest Fest is no different. We want people to walk away having the best day. We really want people to come, check us out and hopefully celebrate a beautiful day.”
Sole Syndicate Brewing is located at 100 State St., Stockhouse 122. and is open Wednesdays from 3-8 p.m., Thursdays from 4-9 p.m., Fridays from 4-10 p.m., Saturdays from noon to 10 p.m. and Sundays from noon to 8 p.m. For more information, visit solesyndicatebrewing.com.
