ENFIELD — There’s a new coffee shop in town! If you’re looking for a place to hang out and cool down this summer, then check out Black Crow Coffee.
Located at 9 North Main St., Black Crow is a specialty coffee shop serving coffees, teas, iced and seasonal beverages, and pastries. Owner Anthony Barbosa said, “We opened in February and the feedback has been phenomenal. We’ve been very steady and very busy which has been great. We are definitely getting great feedback from the customers which is awesome as well.”
Barbosa was a barista for five years and thought it would be great to open a coffee shop with signature beverages. He wants people to come to Black Crow and enjoy their experience. “We want to bring a sense of community,” Barbosa explained. “We like to get to know our customers and chat with them. It’s scary to open a business because you never know what the outcome is going to be, but now that we’re four months stretch afterwards, it’s definitely looking up for us.”
Jason Scavotto, an Enfield resident, said one of his favorite things to do is check out local coffee shops. He heard that Black Crow Coffee was opening and was excited to try a new place. He recommends that everyone should try Black Crow’s flavors of the month because the unique, creative blends and cold foams, and flavors are amazing.
“Black Crow Coffee immediately makes you feel like you’ve been a family member forever,” Scavotto said. “The owners are simply genuine, wonderful people that have a passion for serving their customers and community. The coffee is top notch, too, and everything I’ve tried has been delicious.”
Scavotto added, “Black Crow Coffee is just that — a local, small business that has exceptional customer service, cares deeply about the quality of their product, loves the town they are in and provides high quality coffee.”
Two of Black Crow’s top sellers have been their Snickers latte which Barbosa said tastes exactly like a Snickers bar and their iced coffee is a huge hit. Barbosa is hoping this summer to start introducing their sandwiches. He would love to expand and open a second location, which could potentially be in the works in the future, but in the meantime, his goal is to spread the word about Black Crow Coffee.
“To have our customers be excited about our growth and seeing their support has been the best part of this,” said Barbosa.
