TOLLAND — Each month on Saturday nights the Tolland Cultural Council will offer the community its Music in the Hills — 2025 concert series featuring some of region’s most unique acoustic musicians like Andy & Judy who will perform on Saturday, March 15.
NORTHAMPTON — The School Committee and City Council were able to compromise on the committee’s request for a $600,000 mid-year appropriation as the council approved a $294,883.02 request during its March 6 meeting instead to cover lost positions from last summer’s cuts through the remainder of the school year.

EASTHAMPTON — In a special meeting of the Easthampton City Council on Feb. 26, the council voted to have former Councilor Peg Conniff rejoin the council and serve out the remainder of former Councilor Owen Zaret’s term. Zaret resigned his position earlier in early February.
SOUTHWICK — It will be a few more months before the town will open enrollment for the town’s municipal aggregation program because of an unexpected dip in the rate Eversource is currently charging its electricity customers.
