Southampton land purchase goes to override vote
SOUTHAMPTON — Last month, residents at Annual Town Meeting voted in favor of Article 11, which authorized the Select Board to purchase 52 acres located along College Highway, across from the Cumberland Farms convenience store. Holyoke, Amherst receive federal funding for electric school buses
Electric school buses will soon start phasing into Western Massachusetts roads after Holyoke and Amherst were two of 17 districts in the state to be awarded portions of $42 million in federal funding that will enable districts to replace fossil-fueled school buses with cleaner electric models.
