Model A clubs, like the Connecticut Valley Working A’s in Southwick, help ensure that the nearly 100-year-old cars will live on. Dedicated to helping club members restore and maintain their cars, the club is one of 270 local chapters of the national Model A Ford Club of America, and also is affiliated with the Model “A” Restorers Club.
The park announced its newest attraction, a straddle coaster called “Quantum Accelerator,” park president Pete Carmichael compared it to “Pandemonium,” a steel spinning coaster with a max speed of 31 miles per hour. Both “Pandemonium” and the new coaster, he said, are thrill rides the whole family could experience together.
