The Hampden District Attorney’s Office and Hampden County Sheriff’s Office were awarded funds as part of the Massachusetts Gaming Commission’s recent release of the fiscal year 2025 regional grants from the Community Mitigation Fund.

LUDLOW — As one of the municipalities immediately surrounding Springfield, Ludlow is one of 11 communities that is eligible for grant funding to offset the impact of the nearby MGM Springfield casino. For fiscal year 2025, the Massachusetts Gaming Commission awarded the town $244,900 for improvements and mitigation.
EASTHAMPTON — As part of its artist of the month exhibition, rising high school senior Kaia Couture of Belchertown is set to have her art displayed at the Sgt. James G. Wheeler Memorial Art Gallery, 122 Pleasant St., Suite 101, Easthampton.
