SPRINGFIELD — About 2,000 people gathered in front of the United States Federal Court House on State Street in Springfield on June 14 to protest the actions of President Donald Trump. The protest, dubbed “No Kings,” was part of a coordinated group of actions in more than 1,800 cities and towns across the country.

SPRINGFIELD — Despite pouring rain on June 7, the Springfield Pride Parade returned for its fourth year. The parade stepped off at the Springfield Technical Community College Campus before the Pride Parade Block Party kicked off at Stearns Square following the parade.

EAST LONGMEADOW — Football and track fans from other towns who come to East Longmeadow High School to watch their team compete will soon do so on new bleachers, thanks to a $150,000 earmark in the fiscal year 2026 state budget.
