LUDLOW — Ludlow is celebrating its 250th autumn with a classic New England fall fair, Falling into Fun, organized by the Ludlow 250th Committee, will offer food, seasonal activities and entertainment.

LEVERETT — The Village of Light Ashram will host a second Walk for Peace on Sunday, Oct. 6, to stand with those suffering from war and violence worldwide, and seek an end to the suffering.
AMHERST — The public received a presentation over Zoom on Sept. 25 about conceptual plans for the new shelter and supportive housing that is being developed at the site of the former Amherst Veterans of Foreign Wars on 457 Main St.
AMHERST — The Amherst Survival Center will once again host its fifth annual Hike for Hunger fundraiser all through the month of October, inviting participants to hike when and where they like all month in an effort to raise money for the center.
