NORTHAMPTON — The Ordinance Review Committee will recommend that the City Council form a special committee to review the city’s food truck ordinance. The recommendation will be made sometime in January when the new council is in office.

SOUTHWICK — With an eye toward connecting the Rail Trail to College Highway, the Economic Development Commission unanimously approved sending a letter to the Select Board asking it to establish an ad hoc committee that would determine if the state’s Complete Streets Program is a right fit for the town.
The project to enhance the grounds of the public library has been paused after learning the Community Preservation Committee mistakenly approved its initial funding application to purchase fixtures in 2024, and once again in October to finish the project.
