HUNTINGTON — On Dec. 5, Hilltown Lions Club volunteer members gathered at the garage headquarters on 1 Bromley Road in Huntington to present the Hilltown Community Ambulance Association with a check for $1,000 from its fundraising efforts.

CHESTER — The historic Pullman car from Bernie’s Dining Depot was on the move again on Nov. 25, headed to its new home at the Chester Railway Station and Museum.
RUSSELL — The town of Russell will be hosting an evening of holiday cheer on Saturday, Dec. 13, featuring a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus and the 25th Annual Russell Parade of Lights.
BLANDFORD — The Porter Memorial Library in Blandford received word earlier this month that the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners has awarded a $5.4 million Small Population library construction grant to the town of Blandford.
