Warren, Deaton spar in debate ahead of U.S. Senate election

WILBRAHAM — With less than a month to go before the Nov. 5 general election, the Hampden-Wilbraham Regional School Committee voted to support the passage of ballot Question 2, which would repeal the high school graduation requirement for passing the MCAS test.
Residents will soon have their first opportunity to vote in this year’s Nov. 5 state and presidential election. Beginning on Oct. 19, early voting will open in East Longmeadow, Hampden, Longmeadow and Wilbraham.
WILBRAHAM — On Oct. 1, six Wilbraham residents gathered for a panel discussion at Wilbraham Public Library, focusing on topics of youth engagement and voter challenges.
WILBRAHAM — The Wilbraham Children’s Museum will host its trunk-or-treat event on Sunday, Oct. 20, from 2-6 p.m. at Fern Valley Farms, 758 Main St.
Wilbraham and Longmeadow were among 192 towns awarded $5.6 million in grants as part of Massachusetts’ Municipal Road Safety Grant program, which aims to target and improve local traffic safety issues through enforcement, additional strategies and needed equipment.
