SOUTHWICK — Randy Austin was appointed by the Select Board as the town’s director of assessment during the board’s Aug. 25 meeting and will be taking over for Sue Gore who is retiring after serving 32 years as the town’s assessor.

Westfield superintendent’s goals include special education review

Westfield, Gateway Regional awarded state preschool grants
BOSTON — The Healey-Driscoll administration announced last week that 30 school districts, in partnership with over 100 community-based preschool programs, will receive a total of $20.3 million in Commonwealth Preschool Partnership Initiative grants to expand access to high-quality, affordable preschool for children and families across Massachusetts.
