HAMPDEN — During its June 5 meeting, the Hampden Conservation Commission continued its hearing for the agri-solar proposed facility at 530 Glendale Rd.
Following a vigorous May 23 debate session, the nearly $60 billion budget reached unanimous approval by the Massachusetts state Senate. Members adopted more than 400 of the 1,100 amendments filed, resulting in close to $90 million of additional spending with Western Massachusetts lawmakers maintaining the regions stake in funding.
HAMPDEN — An effort to renovate and expand the Senior Center met its end this month, at least as currently proposed.
WILBRAHAM — During the May 21 joint meeting of the Wilbraham Finance Committee, Wilbraham Select Board and Hampden-Wilbraham Regional School Committee, the groups agreed to compromise following a disagreement over the budget recommendation for HWRSD.
MONSON — A May 13 bus trip to the Massachusetts State House included local community members, part of the Massachusetts Residents Against Crumbling Foundations, an advocacy group made of homeowners from across the state who seek to raise awareness and work with lawmakers to pass legislation regarding issues concerning the construction of their homes and others like them.
