PALMER — Palmer hosted its annual Veterans Day parade and ceremony, marching from Amvets Post 74 in Three Rivers down Main Street to Hryniewicz Park in a procession that included local veterans, Boys and Girl Scouts, the Palmer High School band and local public safety personnel and vehicles.
SPRINGFIELD — Thousands of area school children had the opportunity to see the Springfield Thunderbirds play their annual School Day Game with a 10:30 a.m. puck drop on Nov. 6.
WESTFIELD — For years, the Springfield Water and Sewer Commission has been developing a vision for improving operations at its West Parish Water Treatment Plant, but as U.S. Sen. Ed Markey noted, “A vision without funding is a hallucination.”
With less than a month to go before the presidential election, local voters eager to cast their ballot can do so before Election Day on Tuesday, Nov. 5. Those registered and wishing to participate in early in-person voting hours may do so by simply visiting the polling locations at the dates listed.
