Site plan approved for new Westfield warehouse on Cycle Street
WESTFIELD — On Nov. 18, the Planning Board unanimously approved a site plan for a warehouse on Cycle Street to be occupied by Aero Fastener, an aerospace manufacturing company currently located on Servistar Industrial Way.

New graduation requirements presented to Westfield School Committee
WESTFIELD — At the Nov. 17 School Committee meeting, Susan Dargie, director of curriculum and instruction, and Christine Shea, director of assessment and accountability, reviewed the proposed changes to the graduation requirements for Westfield High School and Westfield Technical Academy due to the elimination of MCAS assessments as one of the requirements for graduation.
Huntington Fire Association donates to food pantry
HUNTINGTON — At the start of a training on Nov. 13, Deputy Chief John McVeigh of the Huntington Fire Department called a special association meeting for a vote to support the Huntington Food Pantry with a gift of $1,000.
