


Gray Catbird Pottery Studio expands art class offerings
HUNTINGTON — This summer, Dale Rogers, owner of the Gray Catbird Gift Shop and Pottery Studio on 22 East Main St. is expanding art class offerings beyond pottery, with some of the 63 artists and artisans featured in the gift shop offering their talents to the public with step-by-step instruction.

HUNTINGTON — Gateway Regional Superintendent Kristen Smidy announced this week that she has accepted a position as an associate director at the New England Association of Schools and Colleges, the recognized accrediting body for schools and colleges in New England.

WESTFIELD — On June 4, the residents of Armbrook Village were seated outdoors, and honored guests Mayor Michael McCabe and state Sen. John Velis were in attendance as resident Harriet Gilman walked to the front of the gathering for her 104th birthday party.
