WEST SPRINGFIELD – The Center of Human Development Cancer House of Hope hosted its annual luminaria event on Dec. 10 at the West Springfield Town Common. Mayor William Reichelt, CHD Vice President of Community Engagement Ben Craft and cancer survivor Evan Plotkin were among those who kicked off the 2024 event, where over 1,000 luminarias were lit. The event began at 5 p.m. with a lighting ceremony, and the display lasted until 7 p.m.
