Ahead of the primary election on Sept. 1, Reminder Publishing has compiled a list of voting hours and locations in the area.
East Longmeadow
In East Longmeadow, Early voting will occur on Aug. 22 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Monday, Aug. 24 through Friday, Aug. 28 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Library Conference Room, located at 60 Center Square.
On Election Day, voting for all five precincts will take place at Birchland Park Middle School, located at 50 Hanward Hill. Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Hampden
In Hampden, in-person early voting sessions for the primary election will be held in the Hampden Town Hall, 85 Wilbraham Road, Saturday Aug. 22 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Monday, Aug. 24 through Thursday, Aug. 27 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Saturday, Aug. 22 is the last day to register to vote or to change party ahead of the primary.
Election Day voting will also take place at Town Hall on Tuesday, Sept. 1 from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Longmeadow
In Longmeadow, absentee in-person voting is ongoing Monday through Thursday from 8:15 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and on Fridays from 8:15 a.m. to noon. Voting on Monday, Aug. 31 will conclude at noon.
Early in-person voting will occur Saturday, Aug. 22 to Friday, Aug. 28, with the exception of Sunday, Aug. 23. Polls will be open Saturday, Aug. 22 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.; Monday, Aug. 24 through Thursday, Aug. 27 from 8:15 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; and Friday, Aug. 28 from 8:15 a.m. to noon. Both absentee and early in-person voting will take place at the town’s municipal offices, located at 231 Maple Road.
Advance processing will take place on Saturday, Aug. 28 from 10 a.m. until completed at the Longmeadow Community House, located at 735 Longmeadow St. This is open to the public for viewing purposes only.
On Election Day, the polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the Longmeadow Community House.
The voter registration deadline is Friday, Aug. 21 at 5 p.m. and the last day to apply for a ballot by mail is Tuesday, Aug. 25.
Wilbraham
Early in-person voting in Wilbraham will take place Saturday, Aug. 22 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Monday Aug. 24 through Friday, Aug. 28 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Voting will take place at the Wilbraham Town Hall, 240 Springfield St. Construction at the intersection of Springfield Street and Stony Hill Road will likely be going on during some or all of in-person early voting. Check the town’s website for detour details and plan accordingly.
Saturday, Aug. 22 is the last day to register to vote for the state primary.
Voting for all four precincts on Election Day will take place at Minnechaug Regional High School, located at 621 Main St., from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
