Event Details: Temple Beth El Springfield is delighted to present a special one-night-only Cabaret show with Broadway star Julie Benko, followed by a VIP Meet-and-Greet Reception on Sunday, August 23 at 4:30 pm.

Julie is an actor, singer, and writer based in New York City. She most recently appeared on Broadway as Emma Goldman in the Tony Award-winning revival of Ragtime at Lincoln Center. Prior to her role in Ragtime, she was understudy for the lead in Funny Girl (which she performed over 100 times!), she had the lead role in Barry Manilow’s show Harmony and appeared in Fiddler on the Roof and Les Miserables. She has also released her own music, including her most recent album Euphonic Gumbo. Julie does her Cabaret presentations at clubs and venues all over the USA.

The family-friendly show’s opening act will feature some of the young stars of The Bushnell’s Broadway show, Matilda Jr.

Temple Beth El’s Cantor Morton Shames Sanctuary, where the concert is being held, was renovated in 2019, is ADA-compliant, and features superb acoustics along with an elegant, comfortable setting for an exceptional concert experience.

Ticket prices are $50 for General Admission seats, $75 for Orchestra seats, and $125 for Premier seats. Tickets for the VIP Meet-and-Greet Reception are $50 and can be added to any seat tickets.
